The predator adventure on the Lot
Predator Fishing Stay
Pike, zander, perch and black bass—the Lot at Aiguillon offers a diversity of predators rare in France. From our private pontoon or by boat, explore kilometres of wooded banks, weed beds and holes where these predators thrive. Spinning, casting, drop-shot or live bait: every technique has its place on this exceptional playground.
The Lot between Villeneuve-sur-Lot and Aiguillon is a remarkable stretch for predator fishing. The variety of structure (wooded banks with submerged trees, dense weed beds, natural rock formations and deep holes) offers a complete playground for all techniques. The simultaneous presence of four noble predator species is a rare asset in France: you can switch targets depending on the mood of the day, the season or simply your preference.
The Lot between Villeneuve-sur-Lot and Aiguillon presents ideal habitat diversity for predators. Moderate fishing pressure, good fishery management and the presence of black bass (still rare in many regions) make it a top choice spot.

FAQ | Predator Fishing Stay
What are the best techniques for predators on the Lot?
Spinning (soft lures, jerkbaits) is versatile. Casting excels in snaggy spots. For zander in autumn-winter, drop-shot and vertical jigging are very effective.

Yes, black bass can be fished year-round on the Lot. They are most active from May to September, with explosive topwater action in summer.
