What is the best season for fishing?

The season runs from March to November. Spring (April-June) is ideal for carp, summer for catfish, and autumn for predatory fish. Each season offers unique conditions on the Lot.

How many people can the lodge accommodate?

The lodge accommodates up to 8 people in complete comfort. It has 4 bedrooms including a mezzanine, 2 bathrooms, a large living/dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. All on 140 m² with a 300 m² enclosed garden opening onto the banks of the Lot.

Do I need a fishing license?

Yes, a valid fishing license is required. We can help you obtain a temporary fishing permit for the duration of your stay. Contact us in advance for the procedure.

Is catch and release mandatory?

Accepted Answer

We strongly recommend catch and release for carp and catfish. For predatory fish, catch and release is also strongly recommended.

How do I get to the lodge?

The lodge is 1 km from Aiguillon, 7 km from Damazan motorway exit and 3 km from Aiguillon SNCF station. Bordeaux airport is 1h30 away. Private parking is available on site. We can help you organize your stay from your arrival at the airport.

Is night fishing allowed?

Yes, night fishing is allowed on our stretch of the Lot. The private pontoon is set up for your bivvy, rod pod and bait boat. Discreet lighting is available on request.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are welcome on prior request. The 300 m² enclosed garden offers them a secure space. We simply ask that you keep the premises clean.

What activities does the lodge offer besides fishing?

Canoe and paddle are available on request. The region also offers hiking trails, visits to the Prune Museum, the Hazelnut House, and discovery of medieval villages in Lot-et-Garonne.

Sheets are provided and included in the rate. End-of-stay cleaning is available as an option.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is on Saturday from 4pm and check-out the following Saturday before 10am. Other arrangements are possible depending on availability, feel free to contact us.

Yes, free wifi is available throughout the lodge. A workspace is also set up in the mezzanine for those who need to work.
