Private pontoon with bivvy space, night fishing allowed, spots set up for your rodpods and bait boats. Common and mirror carp over 25 kg await you in the calm waters of the Lot at Aiguillon.
The Lot at Aiguillon is a first-category river for carp. The varied bottoms (gravel beds, deep weed beds, sand plateaus) create a diversity of spots that renews the interest with every session. Moderate fishing pressure ensures wary but plentiful fish, with exceptional mirror carp and feisty commons. Previous guests have recorded sessions of up to 15 takes in 72 hours, proof of the remarkable density of this stretch.
Our location right on the Lot gives you immediate access to quality fishing spots. No need for a car: from the garden, you're at the water's edge. The space is designed for carp anglers: spacious pontoon, flat bivvy area, outdoor power outlets, and a comfortable cottage for rest between sessions. Equipment tips
We recommend 12 ft (3.60 m) rods with free-spool reels loaded with 30 lb nylon or braid. A bait boat is a plus for reaching distant spots.

Can we set up a bivvy on the pontoon?
Yes, the pontoon and its surroundings are set up to accommodate bivvy, rodpod and bait boat. There is enough space for 2 to 3 simultaneous fishing spots.
Is night fishing really allowed?
Yes, night fishing is allowed on our stretch of the Lot. It's a major advantage for carp sessions, as the best catches often happen between dusk and dawn.
What is the site carp record?
The record is a mirror carp over 25 kg. Catches between 10 and 20 kg are regular during the season.
